This suzani textile panel is vintage and around 100 years old. ‘Suzani’ is a large hand embroidered textile panel, the word comes from the Persian word ‘SUZAN’ which menas ‘Needle’.

Suzani is a type of embroidered and decorative tribal textile made in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan. These hand embroidered vintage suzanis are infused with the character that only comes from everyday use. Originating from nomadic tribes suzani’s have become highly collectable and valued for their beautiful decoration and fine craftsmanship.

Although this piece has been preserved to the best of our capacity but there are still minor imperfections due to age.
