This is for a beautiful and wonderful condition Chinese porcelain Famille Rose Fish Bowl. Famille bowls are decorated with opaque colors overglazed enamels that are often roses and pinks.
The piece has all over decorations of peaches (one of the most popular motifs and the symbol of immortality and the God of longevity) and leaves. The Bowl is decorated with colors of - Purples, teal, peach and greens with a hint of blues and lines of black. .
This is circa 1900's and these bowls were originally used to hold small fish and now are used as planters to decorative table vases. There is a makers mark on the bottom.There are no chips or cracks and in lovely condition.
This lovely bowl measures 6 inches tall with a diameter of 11 inches and the Diameter of the top opening is 6.75 inches.
Majority of my items for sale are pre-loved treasures that were most likely purchased at a local Estate Sale or a local resale shop in Arizona. I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices.
