Age is an estimate. It may have been modified from an older lamp, based on the underside of the base and the bottom of the neck. The lamp adjusts by two square wood and metal screws that raise and lower a telescoping column. The natural raw linen shade can be sent with it, but any number of shades could work. Current shade is 11.5 inches tall and 19.5 inches in diameter. Note that this lamp also has a sturdy or rustic look that could blend in with the Mission, Arts and Crafts or even the Biedermeier style. See less
