American Modernist Ruth Gerth reflective Chrome a Black Accent Lamp for Chase Brass and Copper Company. Featuring all Chromed and Black Plate pieces with conical clip Shade, globular finial, spherical 4D base and, horizontal banding. With Black Bakelite rotary switch. This lamp is seen in the Cooper Hewitt - Smithsonian collection
From 1920 onwards, she was active as an illustrator and an interior and industrial designer.
Ruth Gerth's work was exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, MoMA and the Art Institute of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois.
