When lit, the lamp provides a soft, glare-free downlight, making it ideal for low hanging, while the shiny surface captures and reflects the contours of the surrounding space.

One of several themes that ran through Jo Hammerborg's work at Fog & Mørup in the 1960s was that lamps were often made from three different metals - copper, brass and aluminium.
