Consisting of a spoon for serving the strawberries and a spoon for sprinkling the sugar, in its original box.
Neoclassical in style, but from the Art Nouveau period, the handles are decorated with fluting, foliage scrolls and acanthus leaves.
A small mask adorns the top of each sleeve on its reverse side.
The influence of Art Nouveau is particularly expressed in the interior of the spoon of the strawberry spoon. The latter is adorned with a spring decoration, representing a summer scene where birds and dragonflies fly above a strawberry plant.
The inside of the sprinkler is pierced with small plant motifs.
Goldsmith's mark and boar's head mark inside the spoons.
Boar's head hallmark = 800 silver
Boar's Head Hallmark = Put into service on May 9, 1838, this hallmark is used to mark small pieces of 800 silver, made in France, used only at the Paris guarantee office. (See photo N°17)
Vermeil is a film of gold affixed to solid silver.
