They are characterized by a high spindle backrest with a molded top and consist of solid elm seating and solid beech frames. Their stylish and high quality design is very typical of early ercol furniture. Original ercol pieces are timeless and fit into any traditional or contemporary dining area.

ercol is an iconic british furniture company founded in the 1930s by lucian ercolani, an italian immigrant and carpenter. They are known for their elegant, sleek designs and use of high quality wood species such as beech, ash and elm. Some of her designs from the 1960s and 70s are now highly sought after and valued as collector's items. The company has produced many iconic pieces of retro mid-century furniture design and remains family-run to this day.
