amazing large antique marble fountain plate restored end 18th/19th century large, huge antique plate for the inside of a garden fountain in white marble from the sea of marmara (turkey). restoration done to perfection. the fountain is from the early 1800s and was the central fountain of a turkish hammam. width 100 cm length 150 cm thickness 15 cm weight 375 kg manufacture ancient turkish material white marble from the sea of marmara unusual and difficult to find object. typical turkish marble "white from the sea of marmara". This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
