Description: - an outstanding and extremely rare large caged holophane pendant with original chain and ceiling rose, france circa 1920.

- heavy brass cage housing two sections of prismatic glass, both stamped holophane. The cage is hinged around the rim in order to open up the prismatic dish underneath and change the light bulb.
- the elongated brass gallery is heavily patinated and contains a height adjustable bulb holder. A beautiful piece of early french holophane lighting.
- pendant height 45cm, width 32cm, depth 32cm.
- rewired in braided flex and pat tested. This piece has an attribution mark,
i am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
