This is a very unusual one due to the beautiful color. The lamp has a porcelain base in a fantastic pale mint green color and two opal glass shades. Scandinavian mid-century modern sleek lighting, the designer behind these lamps was the talented Sigvard Bernadotte, a former prince of Sweden who became a well-known designer, illustrator as well as an industrial designer. He won many awards, and his items can be seen in illustrator museums worldwide, much of his design focused on everyday items such as this lamp, with the focus on being both functional and beautiful. The lamp has a very modern feeling to it, partly due to the elegant and timeless vintage design as well as the amazing color.
