Bryk was an internationally renowned artist and designer who won numerous prizes. She was awarded first prize at the Milan Triennale in 1951 and first prize at the Vallauris International Ceramics Competition in 1972. In 1962 she received the Pro-Finland Medal, in 1974 the Finnish State Prize and in 1978 the City of Helsinki Medal.
