The quality is outstanding, this is a great size and has an absolutely stunning inset tooled leather writing surface. The top and drawer fronts have cross banded edges, this has drawers on the front and back, it is finished identically on both sides. There are ebonised turned wooden handles, this stands on tapered legs which terminate in interesting platform feet. The drawers have extremely fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. The walnut has a gorgeous colour tone and beautiful, strong grain patterns.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
