Made from solid pine the chest is very heavy, solid and well made with three wide drawers set under two smaller drawers which are all finished with turned black wooden handles.
The chest offers masses of storage space and is a classic piece of country furniture which will serve someone well for years to come.
The wood has been waxed with fine bees wax and the finish is quite matt and natural looking.
This piece has a lot of character and charm and will suit a farmhouse or cottage.

Condition

The chest is in solid structural condition with some small cosmetic marks of age and use. The drawers run well and the drawer interiors are in very clean condition.
The top has several groove marks to the wood which aren't very obvious when items are displayed on top of the chest. less
