Rare hand carved Chinese wedding doors used as either shutters or display separately or together on a wall. Each shutter has different design on front panel. Displayed on listing is a photo of a similar door shutters that was stated as being created in c.1800s. Whether the one on Chairish is from the 1800s or early 1900s, it is extremely rare, unique and well preserved. Mid-section on both set of shutters are carved with figures.
Each shutter weighs approximately 12.5 pounds so shipping weight is approximately 30 pounds. less
