Lovely vintage hand painted tray from Portugal. A generous 13 inches wide with a 1.25 inch high standing rim. The center is decorated with a five sprays of flowers in blue, yellow and plum arrayed in an open circle while the edges are decorated both on the inside and out in purple with whimsical repeated decorative patterns. The background color is a lovely creamy white. Within the floral pattern, there are small indentations under the glaze that add to and emphasize the flowers. Truly a lovely tray for use when entertaining or to display.
On the back is the number 188 and the words "Flabal Portugal Hand-Painted, SEC XVII M." less
