I'm pleased to present for sale this magnificent original oil on canvas painting signed Antonio depicting a stormy ocean scene with large breaking waves on a rocky bluff with seagulls in the sky above and a set of trees on the other side of the bluff. It's possible that this painting was done by the esteemed outdoor nature painter, Antonio Tano, but I'm not 100 percent certain. What I can tell you that this painting is expertly done and was likely produced in the 60s or 70s, based on the other artwork in this particular estate.
The painting itself is painted on a 36" wide x 24" high canvas and is featured inside an extremely nice giltwood frame that measures 44.5" wide x 32.5" high x 2" deep and features a fabric fillet. Weighs approximately 13 pounds.
The frame and painting are both in excellent condition, although there are a few areas (in the white crest of the ocean waves section of the painting) where the canvas is beginning to show signs of age (please see pic 7). less
