Wood appears to be mahogany.

They feature carved shell crests and back splats, front cabriole legs, ball and claw front feet, and striped fabric upholstery.

Solid and sturdy, with cosmetic imperfections consistent with age. Could definitely stand to be cleaned well, if not reupholstered completely. Some stains on two chairs’ upholstery.
