The desk features gorgeous superb quality castings of maidens at each end and a black leather gold tooled embossed top. The desk case is beautifully veneered in kingwood with fantastic figuring and a great finish. The desk is in good condition and has minimal signs of age and use but nothing significant. The desk dates to the 1940s-50s era and was French-made.
