There's more than meets the eye with this 2013 Phillippe Starck creation: Illuminating your home with a diffused light, the Biblioteque Nationale also serves as a strikingly modern bookshelf and offers a convenient portable device charger. The base, rod stand, and diffuser of this standing floor lamp are made of chrome-plated, die-cast zinc; the base cover is a zinc-plated P04 steel sheet. The internal diffuser and lamp-holder stand are opal color-injected die-stamped PCs, and the upper ring is a clear injection die-stamped PC. Brackets are polished stainless steel.
