Warner Prins (signed) plus a lower shelf in a cubist form.

Designed around 1949, this table was produced around the same year right before his time at Kagan-Dreyfuss. This design and other similar designs with J. Warner Prins and Alexandra Kasuba artisan ceramic tiles are documented in the book "Vladimir Kagan, A Lifetime of Avant-Garde Design" on page 43 and 44.

This cubist side / occasional table is a rare collectors item, suitable for high-end interiors and discriminating collector clients. Art investors recognize the value of Kagan's works, especially his earlier years pre and with Hugo Dreyfuss during the 1940's and 1950's and coupled with the future potential value of Prins art tiles positions this signed tiered side table as an incredible opportunity for functional fine art.

This Vladimir Kagan table with J. Warner Prins ceramic art tiles would work great in a Mid-Century Modern, Scandanavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Post-Modern room. CONDITION:
The oak frame was lightly refinished and is in gorgeous condition. The ceramic art tiles are in very good vintage condition. All tiles are in-tact and present with no visible losses. Color is vivid and clean throughout. Grout is clean and mostly in-place with some areas of minor grout loss. Excellent and ideal collectors example. See less
