This gorgeous Karl Springer (signed) reptile embossed leather coffee table is signed and dated 1983, the same year that brought us Risky Business, Scarface, National Lampoon's Vacation and Flashdance.
Known for his striking designs and use of exotic or luxurious materials, this coffee table is an excellent example of Karl Springer's work. This expansively proportioned coffee table has been wrapped with a beige / tan color reptile embossed leather, which emphasizes Springer's keen sensibility for luxury and admiration of high fashion. The smooth rounded edges and corners of the table provide safety for children and pets while the subtle softness of the design provides a casual yet refined look. Karl Springer's signature label can be found underneath the table along with the date 1988.
This show stopping Karl Springer signed and dated 'Ming' cocktail table would work great in a Postmodern, Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Zen / Minimalism room.
