Peace and contemplation. This morning sky evoked hope and new beginnings just as the sun crested the horizon, adding a warming glow to the edges of gray clouds. A seemingly simple subject, the sky, yet loaded with the full range of human emotion.
This is professional grade acrylic on a 36" high by 80" wide by 1.5" deep hollow core wood panel. The edges are painted to match the front. It can be hung with a traditional picture wire or with a cleat.
Please note: To bridge the gap between local and national delivery, I most likely would be able to extend the distance for free local delivery or add a nominal delivery fee if your location isn't too far from my studio in southeastern Massachusetts.
About the artist: Stephen Remick was born and raised in Vermont. He earned a BFA in Painting from Swain School of Design, a small art school in Massachusetts. He resides in a coastal New England town with his wife, Anne Carrozza Remick, who is also an artist on Chairish. Steve is president of South Coast Artists, local artist group of about 200 members. Steve's paintings are in private collections all over the U.S. and abroad. less
