Specifically, the cork tops are original to the canisters and are quite worn. I suggest replacing them. The bottom bases edges have darkened over the years as well. The bottom of one jar actually has some chipped ceramic as well. Further, the interior of the Sel-Fin jar has chipped. These remain in their original condition as found.
