My father especially sought out furniture in the French provincial style, bringing a refined taste of Europe to our house. Making a home in Charlotte, NC, he had access to many of the fine furniture stores in the state, including the Henry Link store in Lexington, NC.

This desk is an authentic Henry Link desk and hutch set and was used in my childhood bedroom until I left for college. After my parents retired, they shipped the furniture to my home near Boston and I passed it on to my own daughter, who filled its drawers with her art. She is now college-bound, and it's ready to be passed on. My hope is that the next owner of this set will appreciate the fine craftsmanship and symbolism as my father once did.

Desk: Desk alone stands 29.5" high and the hutch alone adds 42.25" to the height.
