This uniquely painted studio art pottery bowl is created by Texas ceramic artist, Winston Wigand, who has been creating art pottery for over 30 years. The vessel has a watercolor, splattered effect design in an abstract, but organic modern pattern. It's array of colors create a beautiful kaleidoscope in distinct colors of light blue, salmon, and celadon green on an off-white background. Not only are the blend of colors pleasing to the eye, but the detail at the base where the artist left a portion unglazed is what originally attracted me to this piece. The large bowl looks beautiful as a stand alone or filled with your favorite things!
