Lead glassblower, Michiko Sakano, blows molten glass into each one and lets the form naturally slump, making each fixture truly unique.

"Modeled after favorites throughout the years, our clamps reference their original utilitarian designs, made modern by the addition of our own studio markings. After they are cast in brass and finished in brushed brass or dark pewter, our glassmaker blows directly into each one, then tightens the clamp on the molten material to fashion an armature. Using different styles of clamps at random, industrial tow chain, and hand-blown glass, we twist the effect, softening the tough-edged industrial implement while celebrating its legacy."

This piece is constructed with dark pewter and clear glass. Previously installed fixtures are sold as a set, no visible damages. Chain length is 24".
