Crafted from pine, it features a green painted finish and has been lightly waxed to seal and preserve it. Open the two bench seats to reveal ample storage space inside.

This bench traces its roots to the region that was formerly the Austrian Empire, when the Habsburg Monarchy ruled much of present day Austria, Romania, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. Historically in the small villages of this region, the family gathering spot during temperate months was on a wide porch or veranda where this bench would have been located.
