The original feet no longer had plating and were sent to be restored and re-plated. The armchairs were upholstered with rubelli martora velvet. Attribution to gio ponti. A brief explanation on the above. The classic isa gio ponti design has a non-wingback design. I have also seen this happen on radice chairs and other seating from the 1950s. The production will consider the design as a collection and apply it to different solutions. You can see cushions with or without cushions, wingback variations, double sofas and so on. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
