A pair of Asian elephant bookends made of teak. Hand carved with trunks raised triumphantly, used to signify good fortune, positive energy, and prosperity. Simple lines define the features of the elephant including eyes, ears and skin. Front legs are outstretched on a carved block base decorated with diamond shapes and finished with an intricate rope twist edge. Dimensions per bookend.
