The clip is created by flattened gold twisted in a rope-like effect that mirrors the equestrian theme. We love the horse’s tiny life-like details and the beautiful patina that adds definition to the horse’s physique. The clip was most likely a prize awarded at the horse show, as the back of the piece is hand-engraved with “Sou. Horse Show Assn. April 17, 1936”. And what a lovely prize it makes!
