This antique rococo large oak chest of drawers features a serpentine front, brass hardware pulls and is raised on carved … more This antique rococo large oak chest of drawers features a serpentine front, brass hardware pulls and is raised on carved feet.
The newer, professionally applied and layered black painted finish is gently scraped and distressed, revealing the natural wood below while complimenting the age and curved lines of the chest. Contrasting gray painted top is also distressed revealing the oak below.
This dresser has been restored, case is sturdy and drawers are in working order. Two brass pulls and key cover are on each of the drawers. One key included as accent, locks no longer function.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation (in particular the drawer bottoms) are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this large oak chest of four drawers.
