Overall the lamp is looks great but it is in used condition with signs of wear and age, particularly on the base and the shade and other fabric portions of the piece and could be repaired or concealed depending on the placement of the lamp. Portions of the shade fabric is visibly worn and thin, there is a 3" tear on one side and a 1" tear on top on another. If you look under the shade and up there's a stain but it's not visible on the outside. Some of the tassels are slightly different lengths. The metal on the base has patina and some chips in the finish. The round velvet pieces on the lamp are gently framed in the metal around them and can come loose if the lamp moves around, they can be glued in place if that's an issue.

Overall the lamp is a show stopper but it is in used condition with some flaws, signs of wear and age, particularly on the base and the shade and other fabric portions of the piece and could be repaired or concealed depending on the placement of the lamp. The underside is raw metal. The inside of the lamp and the lamp in general is very difficult to clean but we did our absolute best without using any restoration products or techniques that could damage the piece. less
