This is a spectacular R.J. Horner-attributed writing or library table. The desk features robust, precise carving of griffons and various floral elements. The desk wears its original finish, flaws included, and is in good antique condition. The desk is most likely Horner and features all of the hallmarks to go along with our attribution. The desk dates to the 1870s era and has stains and minor signs of age and wear as to be expected with the original finish as it is.
