Could be used a tall entryway table, pedestal, or bistro/dining table, though a larger piece of glass may be desirable for a dining option. Table is made of pressed bamboo and resin with a conical wood veneer interior. Piece is unmarked though I'm certain of the attribution given available auction records and previous Augousti pieces I've owned with the same materials and construction.
