Made for the Royal Charter collection, this piece is crafted in solid red oak in EA’s #240 “Coventry” finish — a warm, reddish brown with factory applied distressing and a soft glow. Made in two pieces for ease of moving, the buffet base (model #16-6007) features 3 dovetailed drawers over three doors with linenfold panel carvings and sits on 4 bun feet. Behind the doors is one full-width adjustable wood shelf. The hutch top (model #16-6009) leaves the buffet’s top surface free for serving below three leaded, antiqued-glass doors. Behind these doors is a full-width adjustable wood shelf with plate groove. The top section has been modified to include three Xenon puck lights (working as of the date of listing but not guaranteed). Used in the breakfast room of a Hudson Valley NY estate. One owner, non-smoking household.
