Offered for sale is an acrylic on canvas painting titled "Woman with Hat" by Florida artist Marian Smith (1923-2016). Marian made Coral Gables, FL her home. She was very active in the South Florida arts scene doing numerous shows at the Lowe Art Museum, the Coconut Grove Arts Festival, and the Miami Palette Club to name a few. She received many awards and Best in Show at Grove House in 1979. Marian continued to paint, draw and sketch well into her eighties.
