Vildbjerg Mobelfabrik (also known as VM) was started in 1942. from 1955 the company almost exclusively produced furniture by renowned Danish designer Kai Kristiansen.
The collaboration with designer Kai Kristiansen changed the production of Vildbjerg Mobelfabrik furniture, which up until then were large ornately carved pieces. They had continued successes together, until the factory was sold in 1996. This piece has an attribution mark,
