I was seventeen when I saw my first polo match. I had no idea what I was looking at, or what was going on, but I couldn't take my eyes off the field. The surge of adrenaline in polo is like nothing else on earth.

The Polo Miniature collection depicts different aspects of polo in elegant small format photographs, it was created because I'm passionate about this sport. I've played it for many years, I've watched it and I've felt it and I want to share that with the viewer. I use closely cropped images to magnify the emotion and show you what I see.

'Full Tilt' brings you in to the imminent shoulder to shoulder impact of the horses, the thunder of hooves on turf and the passionate yells from the players will have you utterly transfixed.

But it's the little flick of the player's wrist just a couple of inches to his right, that will leave you with a quiet, "oh wow!" on your lips. Despite the cyclone swirling around him, there's a split second where time slows down, just long enough for an effortless tap tap tap, to steal the ball away.

Artwork Details:

All of Amrita's works are produced by a specialist fine art printer in London. The works are giclée printed to exhibition standards on museum grade Hahnemühle fine art cotton paper 310gsm, using archival pigment inks.

Each piece is hand signed and numbered on the front with a minimum of a one inch border.

A Certificate of Authenticity will be placed with the artwork in the shipment. The document will contain details of the work for the collector's reference.
