Grand country French provincial farmhouse dining table made on a monumental scale measuring nearly 10 feet long. Hand-crafted from fruitwood with peg joinery. The massive top is thick and features framed panels of book matched planks showcasing the rich wood grain patterns. Each end of the trestle base has a large storage drawer with an iron pull. The trestle has a whimsical scalloped apron with a graceful, undulating design. The apron measures 23.5 inches from the floor. The top is supported by thick, chunky turned legs conjoined by an H shaped stretcher ending with bun feet. The table has a dramatic profile and large scale.
