This is the coolest, most charming china set I have ever seen. So unique and different! There are 49 pieces … more This is the coolest, most charming china set I have ever seen. So unique and different! There are 49 pieces (counting the lid of the sauce tureen as a piece). The maker is Haviland Limoges from France. Each p piece is hand-painted and the them of the entire set is nature. the dinner plates are all birds and fowl (6 different designs). The bread and butter plates are fruit (6 designs). The fruit bowls are butterflies and fruit (4 designs). The butter pats are butterflies (3 designs). The soup bowls are vegetables (6 designs). the salad plates are fish (6 designs). The serving bowl, and oval. platters are floral designs. The sauce tureen has a floral and bird design. The bigger bowl and sauce tureen have gold dots painted on the bottom of each vessel. Each piece is a torse design which is a twisted band or wreath. The bands are all pink with a white center where the designs are painted. Some pieces are all pink and the designs painted on the pink.

12 dinner plates 9 1/4" 1 plate has a chip the rest are in good condition
7 soup bowls all in good condition 9" x 1 3/4"
11 salad plates 1 with a chip and one with a place that looks like was a chip, but smoothed over, the rest are in good condition 8 1/4"
1 small oval serving dish 11" 7 1/4" good condition
5 fruit bowls 5 1/4" x 3" some pink wear to white on the rides of the torse
3 butter pats 1 with a chip and some wear to the pink
1 large serving bowl 11" x 7 1/2" good condition
1 covered sauce tureen 8" x 5 1/2" has an attached under plate, the handle on the lid has a chip
1 large oval serving dish and has 3 chips 12 3/4" x 8 3/4"
6 bread and butter all good condition 7"
the overall condition is very good. There are a few pieces with chips as listed above . I can't show pics of all of them, but included a couple of pics to show size of chips. There is no crazing or cracks. Even with the chips on a few pieces this is still a fabulous set! less
