Hand-carved and highly detailed, this metallic steed is adorned with red glass baubles on his handsome armor and would brighten any child’s eyes. Being made of solid wood, this piece is very strong and can even support an adult, HOWEVER, I would not advice such role-play! Ha! The pipe is anchored deeply into the base and is quite sound—my only concern would be the depth of the pipe into the horse! Always error on the side of caution—I would reinforce the pipe to the horse, if I had little ones wanting to ride to someone’s rescue! :)
The carousel horse comes in two pieces: the carved wooden horse and its wooden stand and metal pole—much easier and cheaper to ship! The height of the pole and its base is 22”, while the width is 9.5” and the length is 19.5”. The height of the horse alone is 28”, the length is about 36” and a width of 8”. When assembled, the total dimensions are 38”H x 36”L x 9.5”W.
The weight of the horse is 28.2 lbs and the base weighs 9.6 lbs; I will ship the base separately, at my own cost. less
