Features a blue iron cross (which stands for bravery and leadership) from the 1st WW on a creamy white background. There are rays emanating from the cross and within the cross is a crown, a W, and the date 1914. On the sides of the cross are laurel branches depicting victory, honor, and glory. On the back are the dates 1914-1916 and an acorn with oak leaves depicting power or victory. There is a blue line around the base and around the bottom of vase. This was probably a vase awarded to a soldier for service. It is marked with crossed swords on the bottom for Meissen. It measures 5 1/4" tall x 4 3/8" wide, the bottom is 2 3/4" wide. The condition is very good to excellent. There are a couple of factory bumpy spots along rim, difficult to see can only feel when you run your fingers around rim. No cracks, crazing, or chips. less
