Description: From 17th century Dieppe, small town in Normandy (France), became a major center of trade and carvings in Europe ship … more From 17th century Dieppe, small town in Normandy (France), became a major center of trade and carvings in Europe ship models were made, especially during and after Napoleonic wars. This is a Dieppe 10-Gun prisoner of war ship model from the year 1810. This model is unique as it comes with the rescue boat. There is information out there on this boat and comparable comps for sale prices when doing your research.

This model has had slight prior repairs, I am told. Please view the pictures and ask any questions prior to purchase.
The third mast needs slight repair at the top, see pictures. The glass dome is an excellent condition as is the wooden base. The flags are intact on the top of masts. This is an excellent addition to anyone’s mariner collection. The detail on the men on deck is amazing.
Ship measures 6 inches wide and 5 inches tall
Entire unit measures 10 inches tall from bottom of wood base to top of globe and 9 inches wide
