Made by … more Swiveling and height-adjustable office chair on a four-legged base made of sheet steel with rubber caps (version P). Made by the Dutch Gispen. This rare version of the Gispen 359 P was designed in the 1950s by designer Christoffel Hoffmann. Hoffmann was appointed by Gispen in the 1950s to investigate the American chair market; the steel frame of the chair is inspired by American office chairs. The base of the chair consists of metal and fabric-covered wooden panels. The height of the chair is adjustable as well as the angle of the backrest.
