- Vintage 1930's French style gilt metal candelabra that is made of muntz which is 60% copper and 40% zinc.. This … more Vintage 1930's French style gilt metal candelabra that is made of muntz which is 60% copper and 40% zinc.. This beautiful candelabra depicts florals and leaves. It has a total of 5 single flowers and 5 candle holders with flowers under the candle holder. There are a number of stylized leaves; all flowers, holders, and leaves have original soldering in good condition. It appears that nothing has been repaired. The gilt base has a floral theme and stylized design. It measures 21" across at widest point, 22" tall, and the base is 5 3/4" wide. Condition of this candelabra is overall very good. There is one leaf that has a spot of discoloration (shown in picture) and 4 of the 5 flowers are missing the stamen. The center stem leans a little to the left, only slightly and one candle holder is tilted slightly, but could probably be straightened or candle adjusted to stand straight. Nothing major that detracts from this lovely hand-formed candelabra! less
