Brilliant orange and navy blue batik printed fabric panel from Escalera of Mexico City, dating to the late 1900s. The fabric is cotton with a bright orange background, an overall pattern of lighter blue and light orange, and dark navy blue flowers and birds. It's a nice weight for clothing, curtains, a tablecloth, quilting, or a variety of crafts.
The fabric is in very good condition. Note that one edge has a wider orange border with some small tears from the manufacturing process, but the rest is in great shape.
