Description: American Art Deco Black lacquered console from the 1930's/40's. Attributed to Donald Deskey however there are no makers marks. 7 … more American Art Deco Black lacquered console from the 1930's/40's. Attributed to Donald Deskey however there are no makers marks. 7 plate glass fins protrude 3" from the front and both sides and each are 1/4" thick. A mirror sits inside the top lip and 1" plate glass sits on top of that. When the toggle switch at the front base is switched on the glass panels are illuminated and glow yellow on their outer edges.. A 40 watt bulb is housed inside the pedestal, accessible by a panel at the back held in place by a single screw. Base measures 20 3/4" wide x 11 3/8" deep x 28 3/4" high without glass top. 1" plate glass floats on top of the pedestal making overall height 29 3/4" less
