A pair of sophisticated ebony wood armchairs. In an antique George III Chippendale Style. Newly upholstered in velvet and needlepoint flower design on a black background with mini polkadots. A carved crest with a tassel and ribbon detailed back splat. Striking arm grips in the form of serpent heads. Slip seats. Beautiful curved cabriole legs ending in ball and claw feet. The pair do not disappoint bringing Gothic, Rocco, Chinese, and a bit of French design into these vintage Chippendale style armchairs. In fabulous condition. Minimal wear to wood.
