Vintage pair of hard to find Henry Link Faux Bamboo Nightstands from the Bali Hai Line. These beauties have original paint and original hardware. The Formica top was often used on Henry Link furniture of the period.
Why Formica? Per the Formica website in the 1950's ~ "After the war, Americans enjoyed a new prosperity. In the housing boom that came with it, Formica® Laminates popped up all over the country in suburban kitchens and dinettes." And I would add on furniture as well.
