It appears the top could … Read more This rustic industrial looking stand or workbench has a mahogany top with a back lip. It appears the top could be tilted but we have made no attempt to do so. We left the chipping yellow paint on the piece as it felt appropriate, but do wonder what the piece would look like restored to a nice mahogany finish. The cast metal base has two shelves and is on metal casters. This piece would make for a wonderful display or possibly a small bookshelf. The overall height is 33 inches, but the height to the tabletop itself is 30 inches. The piece is in good antique condition and has some wear to the finish and some surface rust on the metal. The tilt mechanism, has not been tested. The casters work but, not smoothly. Please see photographs for an overall representation of condition. See less
